SIERRA SKIN INSTITUTE is a full-service dermatology office. We provide the finest medical and aesthetic care. OFFICE POLICIES FOR PATIENTS COSMETIC PROCEDURES: Due to high expense of the professional supplies and the length of the appointment, prior payment may be required. All cosmetic procedures require a cosmetic consultation. Advance notice of cancellation is required or fees may be assessed. SCHEDULING: We try to do our best when scheduling appointments. Please be specific as to the type of appointment that you need so we can schedule accordingly. An appointment can range anywhere from 10 minutes to a one-hour surgery or laser treatment. So it is very helpful to the scheduler to know the reason for your visit. We generally do not perform a surgery or mole removal on the same day as a skin exam. COPY OF MEDICAL RECORDS: We are happy to provide copies of records to you or any of your personal physicians; however, we do require a signature to release the records. A fee may be charged to cover the time of the staff and cost of the supplies utilized to provide these records. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have questions or concerns about these policies.
